Tibi IG Live Marathon

During my Summer 2023 internship at luxury clothing brand, Tibi, we hosted a 6-hour Instagram Live Marathon complete with hosts, special guests, and individual episodes. Being the Marketing and PR intern, my duties consisted of prepping story boards for each episode, attending meetings to discuss and rehearse the flow of the live stream, and to be an “off-stage” hand during the marathon. My “off-stage” help did lead me to an “on-stage” cameo with founder and creative director, Amy Smilovic.

Being apart of Tibi’s first ever 6-hour Instagram Live Marathon was an unforgettable experience. I learned from our Social Media Director all that goes into the preparation and execution of social media branding. Being able to witness the live interaction and feedback from our viewers was a preview of the future of social media engagement. This allowed me to understand the importance of real-time social media marketing.
